News: Outstanding Law Review Article

The Journal is thrilled to announce that our distinguished and award winning Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal has once again published the article selected by the Texas Bar Foundation for its Outstanding Law Review Article Award. This is the third time the EPJ has won the award in its eleven year history, an amazing accomplishment!
The winning article is entitled The Killing of Community Property authored by Karen Gerstner, an estate planning expert who is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
The Texas Tech School of Law Estate Planning & Community Property Law Journal is the only student-run estate planning law journal in the United States. Guided by our Faculty Advisor, the widely renowned estate planning expert Gerry W. Beyer , and our Editor-in-Chief Taylor Calvert, we strive to publish articles about cutting-edge topics in the world of estate planning.
We aim to publish the absolute most well-written material possible, on the newest and most exciting topics. We also endeavor to mirror the same excellence we publish in our journal at our Annual Estate Planning Expo and CLE.
